“Sōtēr,” that means “Saviour,” is a collection of Christian meditative reflections, that bridge centuries of local Catholic piety with a vivid contemporary Maltese spiritual expression in poetic and visual forms. The meditations, styled on the traditional Veneration of the Cross, the Seven Churches Visitations, the Way of the Mother (Via Matris), the Way of the Cross (Via Crucis) and the Way of Light (via Lucis) are accompanied by 50 original drawings by local artists. They offer a rich and colourful prayerful accompaniment, especially for the Advent, Lent and Easter seasons. Available in two versions: Maltese and English.
